I’ve been thinking about it for a couple years now, and finally decided to make the move; starting today, I’m officially a college student again. I enrolled in the User-Centered Design certificate program at the UW and applied for graduate nonmatriculated status. My plan is to flip over to full-on grad school next year, but I figured this way I can test the water before going whole hog. I’m lucky to have a supportive family and work situation, so I couldn’t pass up the chance to fill my brain up with cool new stuff. I’ll follow up with notes as the quarter progresses - wish me luck!

Hey you! Still good - crunch time was pretty intense, but I’m hanging in there. I definitely enjoy the experience more this time around, perhaps because I know what I want out of it this time. The instructor is awesome - she’s an industry professional and really knows her stuff. And she’s a blogger: http://www.absolutelybananas.com
